Bball Camp. Was quite interesting i think. Gained alot from it.
Day 1.
I woke up at 7.30am. WAS NEARLY LATE. Siao siao. Jus use water face face then i chiong le. Heng my mother fetch. Loves my muM! =) hAHa. Reached at 8am, Zhun ZHUN! Then realised, eh. got pple more late than me. LOl. THen in the end. We still had to run track. But its ok =) Ran 5 rounds around the track but i wasn't sad at all, or disappointed. I was just happy that i could finally see my teammates --> Haoqing, Shaun, Sam, Zhi Hao, Xiong and the other team members...really...=)
Lunch in the afternoon, then we were divided into two groups. My group was PLAYMAKERS, and ther other group was YIn YANG. My group consisted of:
Big Sam
Zhi Hao
Samuel
Denie
Hao Qing
Sek Hui
ME =)
And Hanwee and Shara as our i/c.
We played some 'how well you know your teammates game'. Heng i know almost all my teammates class and sec skl. So we WON! =)
Then we went ECP. NO. We JOGGED TO ECP and had a competition there. It was really a pity. The competition is like that. We had 4 bikers and 4 runners. 1 biker will run first, come back, tag the biker and SIT ON THE DUAL BIKE and CYCLE WITH THE BIKER = runner run + cycle. then come back then pass to the next runner...and so forth.
I was a runner. The second in fact. So the first runner came back at the same time as the opposing team runner. THen our bikers went off. WOots! THey came back with at least a 1min lead. =) Rocks man sekhui and denie =) Then i ran. I was pia-ing all the way. Despite the tiredness, i really chiong. I was like, F the lagoon la, F-ing big for what sia. (Cause we were suppose to go round it). Then i really chiong. At that time, my legs going to cramp le. THen i tagged the biker, Hanwee and got on the bike. At that point, we got a 2minutes lead. Then me and hanwee chiong. Sorry hanwee, but at that time, my legs are v v tired le, so i really didn't contribute alot to the biker. =( Argh. Then in the end, we only came back with a 1min lead. The opposing team was close behind us. Then oh well, at the end of the competition, we lost =( But never mind. I know all my teammates tried. Really =) So no matter what. We did well. =) So after the competition. We got a fabulous prize. RUNNING BACK TO SCHOOL. Woohoo =)
Then the night came and we slept. And i talked to you. 只要一听到你的声音，我一切的疲惫都消失了。A small chat with weixiong, zhi hao and samuel, then i go slp le =)
Day 2.
We had to go to this 'UNKNOWN ISLAND'. Which is obviously pulau ubin. Singapore got alot of island la. Imagine going to sentosa to go to the insect park for Bball camp. Crap. Of course its pulau ubin. Nearly the whole already guessed it.
Went there had some amazing race style game. At every station, we had clues to go to the next station, but we need na play games at every station. First station was dog and bone. Second was hiding some small eraser then compete which team can find as many eraser's of the opposing team. Third was The passing pple under the net and over the net to get the whole team across one. The one u need to lift everyone. across. Thing. Then the last was having a team mate blind folded, then that person had to move to the other side to find another specific teammate. Oh well =) I was the one blind folded. And i successfully hit into the tree. Got some graze on my chin. =( The reason --> We had lost the previous 2 round and only won the Net Game. So its 2 -1. Then hanwee told me. If we lose this game, we lose the competition. And shaun was my opponent. I was like crap. So i got my directions then i ran. lOL. THen ben ben de go zhuang shu. But heng got hanwee to guide me back to my teammate. In the end we won, i heck le, for a small injury to bring up everyone's morale, its ok! =) (The other team got confusion in communication, cause shaun couldn't decipher which was his teammate's voice) After all the stations, we had to run back to the starting point, about 3km away. We had only 1 bike. I was so touched by the teamwork showed by my team. Can you imagine, 5 pple taking turn to share a bike? Well, we did that. Even though i never rode the bike, but seeing how the others cared for one another really gan Dong dao wo. It was supposedly only shara riding the bike all the way, yet, in the end, the bike was riden by 4 more pple =) We showed so much encouragement for one another, and so much teamwork. (Much better than the other team i heard, they only got 1 person riding the bike for 3km, then 1 for 200m) Playmakers rocks.
We rode bikes around the island, then we went back. We were ahead of schedule. Reached back skl at about 5. We had a 3 hour dinner period timeslot. Woots. Then we played a game called sardines. Guess many pple know le. Its just like one person go hide, the rest go find. So whoever finds him, hide with him. =) Denie was like saying, "Thanks vincent for teaching us to play this game, that was the best part of the camp." But it was really fun. EVeryone got darn Jiao Hua, then cheat all the others. But oh well. I never kanna the last to find the hiding place! =) I was heng. lOL! First to lose was Hao qing, then Zhipeng, then Wei Xiong. =)
Then at night, ate dinner, went back, team talk, then eat cup noodles, talk talk awhile with zh, haoqing samuel and xiong, then go to slp. =)
3rd Day
Had juniors versus seniors match. Split into 4 quarters of 12mins each. I got to play the first and 3rd quarter. Scored 2 but missed 6 balls. =( I really hate it when Lin Shen or Ms Ang talks about choosing team. Cause, we already had 8 pple confirmed in the team. Xiong, Hao, Guan jie, Hanwee, Chee Siang, Samuel, Ru Kiat and Wei Yang. So to the 6 j2s, theres only 4 slot. And definetely, there will be some j1s in the team next yr. So its like 6 choose 3 or choose 2. I'm so afraid that we will be competing for that place so much that we lose our friendship. But. I guess, everyone wants that two or three places. So lets work hard together ba. =)
I realised my ball skill and experience are really v v far away from the top players in our team. I need to work really hard =( But i will. So my life for next yr is Bball + STudy. Busy life. But i will try =) Xiong keep saying "its different once you touch the ball". So no matter how tired you are, if u really love the game, you play it, u will enjoy it. And i really love the game. So i will work hard too =)
Then we went for jack's place. Did our JTS there and went home. Everyone wanted to go hangendaz initially, then everyone was v tired already, so we all went home =)
I guess, this camp was a little enriching for i got to know the TA1s and the new DSAs. But to the j2s, there was lesser bonding talk this camp. Felt kind of disappointed that we couldn't talk as much as last time, or as long as the chats we had at the bball chalet. =( But never mind, glad to know that everyone's having a good life.
Lets work hard Dave, Samuel, Zhi Peng, Hao Qing and Shaun. No matter who gets in, we are still a team =)
